Cheryl’s estranged husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini is reportedly blaming X-factor boss Simon Cowell for their break-up. JB claims that when the former Girls Aloud singer was a judge on X Factor, she was “stressed” and had no choice but to stay on the show, a source told The Sun. “JB’s convinced Simon and X Factor played a big role in the end of his marriage. He says he watched Cheryl become extremely stressed by the gruelling X Factor filming process. He’d stand up for her when he felt people were pushing her to do too much.

“At the end of the 2014 series, he said they came to a decision as a couple that she would not return. He claims work offers suddenly stalled and Cheryl felt she had no choice but to sign for another year,” said the source.

Jean-Bernard believes the show’s bosses did not want him on set adding: “JB was upset by this as it meant they spent hardly any time together.”

The X Factor judge has also reportedly signed a non-disclosure agreement about her restaurateur ex-husband, preventing a tell-all book.

Cheryl and JB are finalising their divorce and the British singer is currently dating One Direction star Liam Payne, 22. On 8 April, Cowell revealed to the Mirror that part of the reason why Cheryl quit the show was because of her relationship with One Direction star.

Cowell said: “I had a feeling she would leave. She is at a certain place in her life at the moment. I saw her and Liam a couple of weeks ago and they looked really happy. And I believed for a long while that her big thing was to make records. It’s a huge commitment to do one of these shows.”

JB has also been linked to numerous women including former beauty queen Amy Jackson and Cheryl’s former friend Vanessa Perroncel.

The ‘X Factor’ judge spoke to InStyle about what it was like to go through a divorce in the public eye.

Over five years after they broke up, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has opened up about how she felt when she found that ex-husband Ashley Cole had been unfaithful to her.

The 32 year old ‘X Factor’ contestant and former Girls Aloud member spoke about the devastation she felt when she had to perform at the BRIT Awards in February 2010, just moments after news broke of Cole’s infidelity.

Later that month, she announced that she was filing for divorce, but she admitted that while she remained stoic in the public eye, behind the scenes it was a very different story.

“To be honest, I coped in public and crumbled in private,” she tells InStyle magazine in a new interview. “It’s growth, it’s life. They say a good sailor would never be a good sailor if he hadn’t experienced a rough sea.”

Fernandez-Versini, born Cheryl Tweedy, had married Chelsea and England footballer Ashley Cole in July 2006, and they were a high-powered couple in the mould of ‘Posh and Becks’ for their four-year marriage. However, they were more or less continually dogged by rumours of Cole cheating, and she also reveals in the new interview that people who had criticised her for initially standing by him had now apologised to her.

“It’s funny – those who didn’t understand my actions at the time have now had that happen to them and they get it. A friend of mine told me her husband was having an affair and she said, ‘I understand everything that must have been going through your head. But what I will never understand is how you had to face the world’.”

Now happily married to French restauranteur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini since last year, she spoke in the past about how she sought medical help in the aftermath of the very public divorce in order to gain perspective on life.

“I was walking crazyville,” she told The Times magazine. “I had no fire in me belly. I didn’t feel passionate any more, just a bit dead. Getting out of bed was difficult.”

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini seemed to be dropping hints about her future on The X Factor in a brand new interview this week.

It’s been said that Simon Cowell has decided to axe the blonde beauty from the ITV show and is currently meeting with replacements who are all vying for the chance to take her seat on the panel.

The newly married singer appears to be resigned to her fate and in an interview with new! magazine this week she admitted that she wants to change focus and move away from her TV career foe the next twelve months or so.

“My focus is on the charity this year. It was supposed to be last year, but The X Factor’s kind of tasking, time-wise,” she explained. That sounds very much like a goodbye to all things X Factor to us.

Things seem to be taking a bit of a dip for Cheryl in the career department, with her new single Only Human failing to enter the Top 40 this month. It didn’t even land a spot in the Top 100 in the end.

X Factor producer Richard Holloway recently revealed that he and Simon are planning a complete overhaul of the X Factor this year and are planning to shake things up with a new panel and an amended format.

It’s been reported that Louis Walsh will be replaced by Take That star Robbie Williams for 2015 and that One Direction star Louis Tomlinson will also be on board. Bookies are predicting that Rihanna will take part, though we think that’s a bit of a long shot.
