Cheryl’s estranged husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini is reportedly blaming X-factor boss Simon Cowell for their break-up. JB claims that when the former Girls Aloud singer was a judge on X Factor, she was “stressed” and had no choice but to stay on the show, a source told The Sun. “JB’s convinced Simon and X Factor played a big role in the end of his marriage. He says he watched Cheryl become extremely stressed by the gruelling X Factor filming process. He’d stand up for her when he felt people were pushing her to do too much.
“At the end of the 2014 series, he said they came to a decision as a couple that she would not return. He claims work offers suddenly stalled and Cheryl felt she had no choice but to sign for another year,” said the source.
Jean-Bernard believes the show’s bosses did not want him on set adding: “JB was upset by this as it meant they spent hardly any time together.”
The X Factor judge has also reportedly signed a non-disclosure agreement about her restaurateur ex-husband, preventing a tell-all book.
Cheryl and JB are finalising their divorce and the British singer is currently dating One Direction star Liam Payne, 22. On 8 April, Cowell revealed to the Mirror that part of the reason why Cheryl quit the show was because of her relationship with One Direction star.
Cowell said: “I had a feeling she would leave. She is at a certain place in her life at the moment. I saw her and Liam a couple of weeks ago and they looked really happy. And I believed for a long while that her big thing was to make records. It’s a huge commitment to do one of these shows.”
JB has also been linked to numerous women including former beauty queen Amy Jackson and Cheryl’s former friend Vanessa Perroncel.
The site hasn’t been updated in quite some time and that is because Cheryl has remain quiet but attending a few events here and there which I am trying to collect. I am also debating on changing the layout and fixing the gallery thumbnail issue (since there is so many photos I have to do them by hand and there is a lot of albums.). So I want everyone to know who visits and doesn’t think I’ve just abandon the site.
Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole are ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Though we still don’t know if the One Direction singer is actually going to propose to his leading lady, we do know that the couple is ready to expand their family.
Taking to Instagram, Cheryl shared a picture of their pup along with his new dad and revealed that she already considers Liam part of her family! She wrote, “Our new family member ???? he is beyond cute.. ? the dog is adorable too ? @toosmallforteacups thank you ❤️”
It’s so sweet that they’re taking things to the next level by becoming pet parents, but we can’t help but wonder if there’s more to Cheryl’s cheeky little joke.
She might have only just confirmed her departure from The X Factor but bookies have already slashed the odds on Cheryl becoming a coach on The Voice when it switches to ITV next year.
After the rumour mill had gone into overdrive about her X Factor future, the Geordie star released a statement on Tuesday morning, announcing that she was indeed leaving the ITV show to concentrate on her music.
But that has done little to put pay to talk that she is being lined up to join The Voice after the programme ends its run on the BBC this weekend.
Ladbrokes have shortened her odds from 5/1 to 8/11 on the basis that Cheryl’s friend Will.I.Am is currently a coach on the show and the two would have great chemistry on screen.
Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Donohoe told the Daily Star: “Cheryl says she wants to concentrate on the music but plenty of punters expect her to jump ship to The Voice instead.”
While a TV insider told the paper that she and old pal will.i.am would make the perfect judging duo.
“Cheryl and Will would be a dream team for producers. Their natural chemistry as friends would be amazing for the show.”
However, while he’s been on it from the start, Will.I.Am staying on The Voice when it switches channels looks to be far from a done deal.
In an interview earlier this year he said: “The only reason why I come back to do The Voice – it’s not because it’s a big pay day – it’s because it’s the BBC! So I don’t know (what I’ll do).”
